Creepshow 2: (Special Edition) Blu-Ray Review

creepshow2

Arriving on Special Edition Blu-ray this week is the sequel to the most celebrated horror anthology of all time, “Creepshow 2.  Although this follow-up never actually lived up to the original, it still has plenty going for it.  I still think “The Hitchhiker” is one of the creepiest anthology shorts to date.  Thankfully, Arrow Video has put together this wonderful release that includes a new 2K restoration as well as tons of bonus features.

Fans of “Creepshow 2” will definitely want to pick up this release as the film has never looked better on home video.  Personally I was never a fan of “Old Chief Woodenhead”, but “The Raft” and as I mentioned before, “The Hitchhiker” definitely make up for it.

I should also mention that Arrow Video also released a Limited Edition version of this release, but only 3000 were pressed and are probably very hard to find.
