Microwave Massacre: Blu-Ray Review

microwavemassacre

Arriving on Blu-ray this week is 1983’s “Microwave Massacre”, starring legendary stand-up comedian Jackie Vernon in his final feature film role.  Prior to this release, I had never actually seen “Microwave Massacre” although I was aware it existed.  If you are in the mood for a dark comedy in which a man cooks his wife in a giant microwave and eats her piece by piece, this might be the film for you.

“Microwave Massacre” has built a cult following over the years but it’s definitely not for everyone.  If you are a fan of the film, this release from Arrow Video is a definite must-buy.  Like I said, I have never seen it before, but I can’t imagine it ever looked better than in this newly restored 2K presentation.
