Misery (Collector’s Edition): Blu-Ray Review
Arriving this week on Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is one of my absolute favorite Stephen King adaptations, “Misery”. Rob Reiner (Who also directed King’s “Stand By Me”) delivered such a fun and at times terrifying film about a writer and his number one fan. Kathy Bates won a much deserved Academy Award for her performance as Annie Wilkes.
Shout Factory has given us a wonderful looking 4K restoration. Although I wish there was an interview with the two leads, we at least get a new interview with Rob Reiner. If you are a fan of “Misery” (who horror fan wouldn’t be?), then you will definitely want to include this edition in your collection.
