Non-Stop: Movie Review
As I watched “Non-Stop”, I couldn’t help wondering if Liam Neeson was as bored playing the same character over and over again, as I was watching him play the same character over and over. They should have re-titled the movie “Taken 3: Non-Stop”. Although I enjoyed director Jaume Collet-Serra’s previous collaboration with Neeson “Unknown”, I feel “Non-Stop” is nothing more of a lazy retread of films we have seen many times before.
This time around Neeson plays Bill Marks, a Sky Marshall with a bit of a drinking problem. When he boards an international flight, it doesn’t take long before his hopes are dashed. Bill begins to receive messages on his device, which is on a secure server. The mysterious person wants 150 million dollars or they will kill someone on the plane every 20 minutes.
I have no desire to giveaway who or how each person dies on the plane because despite my thoughts on the film, those of you who enjoy the “Taken” films, will most likely enjoy “Non-Stop”, so I don’t want to ruin it for you. If you are someone who thinks the “Taken” films are as stupid as I do, then you might want to stop yourself from boarding “Non-Stop”.
