Return of the Killer Tomatoes (Special Edition): Blu-Ray Review
“Return of the Killer Tomatoes” aka the “George Clooney Killer Tomato Movie” was the first sequel to “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes”. For those who might not remember, there are actually four films in the series.
“Return of the Killer Tomatoes” is set 10 years after the events of the first film. Tomatoes have been outlawed and things have been peaceful with the exception of some tomato smuggling. Unfortunately, mad-scientist, Professor Gangreen (John Astin) is preparing for a second tomato war, but this time his killer tomatoes look human.
Admittedly, I was never much of a fan of the “Killer Tomatoes” films, but “Return of the Killer Tomatoes” would be the one I like the best. The blu-ray looks great and features a few new bonus features. If you are a fan, this might be worth picking up.
