In the Mouth of Madness (Collector’s Edition): Blu-Ray Review

This is the week of John Carpenter and Sam Neill collaborations on Blu-ray.  First, we have “Memoirs of an Invisible Man” and now a Collector’s Edition of “In the Mouth of Madness”. For me, this is the filmmaker’s last great film.  I remember when I first saw this on in theaters, I found it to be totally scary and now having revisited it, “In the Mouth of Madness” holds up quite well.

Scream Factory has delivered a fantastic new 4K transfer that looks stunning.  The bonus features include new interviews with John Carpenter, Sandy King Carpenter, actress Julie Carman, and special effects artist Greg Nicotero. “In the Mouth of Madness” is definitely one of my top five favorite Carpenter films and this release is definitely worth picking up if you love the film as well.
