Jean-Luc Godard + Jean-Pierre Gorin: Five Films on Blu-Ray

Arriving this week in a Special Edition Blu-ray set are five revolutionary films from filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard and journalist Jean-Pierre Gorin who teamed up in 1968-1971 for these politically fueled projects. Originally shot in 16mm, Arrow Video has given each film a new High-Def transfer. Included in this set are the following titles.

  • Un film comme les autres [A Film Like Any Other]
  • British Sounds, aka: See You at Mao
  • Vent d’est [Wind from the East]
  • Lotte in Italia / Luttes en Italie [Struggles in Italy]
  • Vladimir et Rosa [Vladimir and Rosa]

Aside from these long out-of-circulation films, the set also includes a 100-page book with English translated writing by Godard and Gorin.
